Family Medicine Physician

The Family Medicine Physician role is onsite in Houston, Texas. Compensation is $120 per hour. South Main Clinic provides patient-centered primary care to the Houston community using modern electronic medical record systems and coordinated clinical operations. The physician provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions while supporting prevention and long-term patient relationships. The role also coordinates referrals, documents care, and participates in quality improvement to support continuity and quality of care.

What you'll do

• Provide primary care for patients of all ages
• diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• perform physical examinations
• order and interpret diagnostic studies
• prescribe medications and therapies
• manage chronic diseases
• perform Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
• educate patients on preventive care
• coordinate specialist referrals
• maintain accurate EMR documentation
• participate in quality improvement
• complete and lock charts within 48 hours of the patient visit.
