Cook – Action Station

Job overview

The Cook – Action Station role is onsite in Mescalero, NM. Pay is $15.50 per hour. The position serves the Food and Beverage outlets at Inn of the Mountain Gods and reports to a Lead or Sous Chef. The cook prepares food at an assigned station, maintains food quality and sanitation, and provides guest service in support of the resort’s kitchen and hospitality operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare food items according to prep lists and recipes
• maintain a clean and sanitary station
• operate assigned kitchen equipment
• inspect freshness, expiration dates, and temperatures
• rotate products using first-in, first-out practices
• check stock
• clean the workstation for the next shift
• communicate workload and needs to the next shift
• follow regulatory, departmental, and casino policies
• respond to guest comments and complaints professionally.
