MRO Purchasing Specialist

The role coordinates with maintenance, engineering, operations, reliability, safety, finance, and storeroom teams to support routine work as well as outages and urgent plant needs.

What you'll do

• Purchase MRO materials, spare parts, consumables, equipment, rentals, and repair services
• create, issue, expedite, revise, and close purchase orders
• coordinate purchasing for preventive maintenance, projects, turnarounds, shutdowns, and outages
• resolve order, shipment, return, credit, and invoice issues
• solicit and analyze quotations and negotiate commercial terms
• manage supplier relationships and performance
• support inventory levels, critical-spare strategies, and storeroom activities
• maintain purchasing data and records
• use ERP/EAM or CMMS systems and track purchasing metrics
• support safety, compliance, and audits.
