Medical Laboratory Technician

What you'll do

• Analyze patient specimens for diagnostic purposes
• perform high-complexity, routine, and stat assays in laboratory areas including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and serology/immunology
• report abnormal or panic results to primary care physicians
• operate, maintain, and calibrate equipment
• clean laboratory work areas and equipment
• monitor reagent and supply inventory
• enter and retrieve results in the computer system
• follow standard precautions and confidentiality requirements.
