• partner on product profitability and enhancements
• oversee underwriting operations, staffing, workflows, and service standards
• lead and develop underwriting staff
• use analytics and KPIs to monitor performance
• guide underwriting technology initiatives
• maintain agency relationships
• oversee vendors
• ensure regulatory and internal compliance
• present performance and action plans to leadership.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of carrier underwriting experience, primarily in Commercial Lines, plus at least five years of progressive underwriting leadership. MBA and/or CPCU preferred; CPCU is not required.
