Staff Physician

Job overview

The Staff Physician role is onsite in Sunland, CA. Compensation is $300,000–$330,000 annually. Comprehensive Community Health Centers provides primary and preventive care to its patients. The physician diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and other disorders while supporting continuity and quality of care. The role also provides clinical supervision to advanced practice providers, participates in an on-call schedule, and contributes to quality assurance and administrative work.

What you'll do

• Provide medical services and primary and preventive care
• stabilize and refer patients needing urgent care
• cover or assist with patients assigned to another provider when needed
• complete patient charts and medical records
• assist with lab specimens when necessary
• complete administrative projects
• maintain licensure, board certification, and admitting privileges
• participate in the Medical Director’s on-call schedule
• supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• serve as a preceptor when assigned
• participate in quality assurance and audits
• and advise administration of issues affecting the practice.
