What you'll do

• Define bills of process and manufacturing sequences for subassemblies or cells
• map manufacturing bills of material to operations, tooling, and process controls
• build ergonomic workstations
• create operator-ready work instructions
• conduct time studies and lead kaizen improvements
• establish standardized work, visual controls, job aids, and audits
• investigate shop-floor defects and drive root-cause and corrective actions
• partner with Quality on in-process checks, error-proofing, and first-article inspection readiness
• implement engineering change orders and validate process updates
• mentor other engineers.
