Job overview

The Facilities and Maintenance Technician role is onsite at the International Crane Foundation headquarters in Baraboo, WI. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. The foundation advances crane and wildlife conservation efforts around the world. The technician maintains and repairs buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure to support a safe, functional campus for visitors, staff, volunteers, and cranes in care. The work includes responding to maintenance needs, maintaining operating systems, and supporting exhibits and grounds.

What you'll do

• Respond to work orders and urgent repair or cleaning needs
• perform groundskeeping and trail maintenance
• work with bird keepers to maintain crane exhibits and bird facilities
• monitor and maintain HVAC, water-quality, and other operating systems
• operate light equipment
• maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
• support events and deliveries
• keep records
• maintain water features and ponds.
