Data Center Lead

The Data Center Lead role is onsite in Madison, SD. Pay is $29–$32 per hour. The position supports Simple Mining’s Data Center Operations team and its mining operations. The lead coordinates technician work and daily site execution, provides technical guidance, and oversees maintenance and troubleshooting. The role helps maintain uptime, safety, quality, and operational efficiency across the assigned site or shift.

What you'll do

• Coordinate technician assignments and operational coverage
• coach, mentor, and train technicians
• verify work quality and documentation
• monitor miner health, network connectivity, power, cooling, temperatures, and infrastructure
• lead deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• coordinate repairs and vendors
• support outage response
• communicate operational risks and updates
• enforce safety policies and conduct inspections
• maintain facility standards.
