The mechanic maintains and repairs specialized fiberglass and composite production equipment to keep it operating safely and reliably. The role supports production continuity by troubleshooting equipment failures, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs with production and maintenance teams.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair chop guns, gelcoat spray equipment, resin delivery systems, and related machinery
• diagnose mechanical and operational issues
• repair pumps, seals, valves, hoses, and pneumatic components
• perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• document repairs
• respond to breakdowns
• verify equipment readiness and safe operation
• follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
