Director of Clinical Services

The Director of Clinical Services role is onsite in Westmont, IL. Compensation is $100,000–$145,000 per year. The position leads the nursing department at a skilled nursing facility and partners with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team. The role exists to direct nursing operations and support safe, compassionate, high-quality resident care. It oversees clinical quality, staffing, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, care planning, and staff development to strengthen outcomes and maintain survey readiness.

What you'll do

• Lead the nursing department and daily nursing operations
• oversee resident care and nursing staff
• monitor clinical outcomes and resident condition
• conduct facility rounds
• review incidents and clinical events
• ensure timely documentation and care planning
• coordinate with interdisciplinary departments and physicians
• maintain nursing policies and regulatory compliance
• prepare for surveys and implement corrective action plans
• lead quality improvement initiatives
• oversee infection prevention and medication practices
• support recruitment, onboarding, retention, coaching, and staffing schedules
• address resident and family concerns.
