Construction Materials Testing Technician

Job overview

The Construction Materials Testing Technician role is onsite in Cedar Creek, TX, with pay of $22–$26 per hour. The position supports DIHO Consulting USA’s construction materials testing work for project teams and clients. The technician tests soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials to assess compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The role documents field and laboratory results, communicates jobsite updates, and coordinates with dispatch, management, technical staff, and onsite clients.

What you'll do

• Test construction materials in the field
• conduct concrete slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder tests
• perform soil compaction, Proctor, Atterberg limits, and sieve analysis tests as applicable
• perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling
• monitor pile installation
• prepare field and laboratory reports
• follow safety procedures
• communicate jobsite updates and project information
• maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams.
