Mitigation Technician

The Mitigation Technician role is an onsite, full-time position in Montrose, CO. Pay is $18–$24 per hour. The technician supports Paul Davis Restoration's emergency services and mitigation work. The role responds to property losses and performs water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation tasks to help restore affected properties. Working with other technicians and project leadership, the technician completes field work, documents progress, and maintains equipment and supplies.

What you'll do

• Respond to emergency losses
• perform water extraction and drying
• assist with fire and smoke services, including deodorization, pack-outs, board-ups, and securing structures
• assist with mold remediation, demolition, and cleaning
• document work with photos, notes, scope sheets, MICA, and daily logs
• maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies
• communicate property-owner questions to project leadership
• participate in the on-call rotation and emergency response as needed.

Why this role

Typical shift is 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday, with weekday and weekend on-call rotation. Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Water Restoration Technician and Fire and Smoke Technician certifications may be obtained.
