What you'll do

• Purchase materials, components, supplies, and services
• issue and manage purchase orders
• review and act on MRP messages
• communicate with suppliers about orders and delivery dates
• maintain inventory for assigned items
• obtain and analyze supplier quotes
• maintain open-order, balance, pricing, and delivery records
• resolve receiving, documentation, discrepancy, and quality issues
• monitor supplier performance
• coordinate with internal departments.
