What you'll do

• Own target architecture for platforms or domains spanning multiple teams
• author technical proposals and lead design reviews
• mentor senior engineers and establish reusable patterns and standards
• prototype high-risk components and deliver critical-path code
• define service-level objectives and reliability strategy
• lead incident retrospectives and architectural improvements
• shape experimentation systems
• plan incremental zero-downtime migrations
• identify and manage technical risks
• contribute to design and review standards, production readiness, and senior hiring calibration
• align technical strategy with business roadmaps and make build, buy, and migration decisions.
