The Medical Device Installer/Technician role is an independent contractor position involving travel to member homes; the listing location is Arlington, VA. Compensation is paid per trip, not hourly: $32 for 0–25 miles, $48.50 for 25.1–40 miles, $72 for 40.1–75 miles, and $90 for 75.1 miles or more, based on one-way mileage. MedScope supports Personal Emergency Response System users so they can remain safe and independent at home. The installer coordinates appointments, delivers and sets up response equipment, tests devices, and teaches clients and caregivers how to use them. Accurate records and coordination with member support help provide reliable service to members.

What you'll do

• Coordinate appointments directly with clients
• deliver, set up, and test personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes
• educate clients and caregivers on device use, features, and maintenance
• troubleshoot installation issues
• maintain installation and service records
• collaborate with member support and installer coordinators
• obtain required signatures
• follow safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
