The Shift Supervisor — University Food Service role is onsite in Richardson, TX, paying $16–$18 per hour. The position supports Chartwells Higher Ed’s campus food-service operation at University of Texas at Dallas. The supervisor directs associates during a shift and ensures assigned work is completed in line with policies and procedures. The role supports unit quality, productivity, and safety through training, scheduling, performance oversight, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Direct associate activities during a shift and oversee completion of assigned work
• train employees and create work schedules
• evaluate performance and recognize or address performance concerns
• prepare production or sales reports and ensure unit quality, productivity, and safety expectations are met
• serve as a contact for employee complaints or time-off requests
• may mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement
• perform other assigned duties. Starbucks experience is required. Business operating hours are typically 10:00 AM–7:30 PM for the spring semester.
