The Reefer Fleet Mechanic is an onsite role based in Cherryville, NC, with a pay range of $31–$36.50 per hour. This position supports the US Foods fleet maintenance department by ensuring the safety and reliability of all company equipment. The role exists to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel and refrigeration equipment. The mechanic contributes to team goals by mentoring other personnel and ensuring all fleet equipment meets DOT standards.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel and reefer equipment, perform preventative maintenance, manage road calls, document repairs, maintain shop safety, and mentor other maintenance personnel.
