Day Services Caregiver

Job overview

The Day Services Caregiver works onsite in Sandy, UT, with weekday hours of Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Pay is $16–$17.75 per hour. Chrysalis provides support services for adults with intellectual disabilities, including individuals with medical needs. The caregiver supports participants at the day program and in the community, helping them stay safe, respected, engaged, and involved in activities. The role contributes to participants’ quality of life through mentoring, companionship, and accurate program documentation.

What you'll do

• Work with individuals at the day program and in the community
• support safety and respectful participation in activities such as movies, fishing, bowling, and games
• serve as a role model, mentor, and friend
• complete assigned program documentation accurately and on time
• communicate care-related decisions to the individual’s team
• use judgment in crisis situations.
