Part-Time Companion Caregiver

Job overview

The Part-Time Companion Caregiver role is onsite in Rye, NH, paying $19–$21 per hour. The caregiver supports Executive Home Care of Southeast and Seacoast New Hampshire clients in their homes, helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life. The role provides companionship and practical everyday support tailored to each client. It helps clients stay engaged and comfortable through conversation, activities, outings, simple meals, light household tasks, reminders, and communication with the appropriate team member about changes in well-being.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and conversation
• spend time with clients through activities such as reading, games, puzzles, crafts, and music
• accompany clients on walks, appointments, shopping trips, or other appropriate outings
• assist with errands and everyday tasks
• prepare simple meals and snacks
• help with light household tasks
• provide reminders
• observe and report changes in mood, behavior, or well-being
• follow individualized care plans and company policies.

Why this role

Previous caregiving, companion, senior care, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus. Dementia or Alzheimer’s experience or training is a plus.
