The Wellness Nurse (Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse) role is onsite in South Weymouth, MA, with stated pay of $38 per hour. The position is in Windrose at Weymouth’s Resident Services department and supports resident care in the community. The nurse assists the Resident Care Director with coordinating resident care and monitoring medication management. The role supports residents’ well-being through medication assistance, assessments, staff training, and communication with residents, families, and physicians.

What you'll do

• Assist with supervising the medication program and residents’ self-administration of medication
• maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
• report significant incidents or changes in resident needs
• assist with resident assessments and service plans
• help train Resident Care staff and orient new staff
• attend training and staff meetings
• and assist with scheduling and staffing Resident Care Assistants.
