The Paraprofessional, Classroom Support role is onsite in Nokomis, IL, at 316 E. South St. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, following a school calendar. Compensation is $17.97–$27.06 per hour. The role supports classroom instructors and students at The Menta Education Group’s Nokomis/Cornerstone Academy and ChrisMont programs. The paraprofessional provides targeted classroom teaching and general student support, including behavior interventions, supervision, and safety. By helping maintain classroom order and responding to behavioral or emergency situations, the role supports students’ educational participation and progress.

What you'll do

• Work with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and general student support
• manage classroom behaviors and report concerns
• implement behavioral program policies and maintain data
• supervise students and maintain classroom order and safety
• help prevent and manage escalation
• identify and report disruptions or safety concerns
• respond to emergencies
• provide behavioral interventions.
