What you'll do

• Coordinate dietary services with related departments
• assist with departmental policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies
• help assess residents’ dietary needs and develop care plans
• ensure staff use care plans in daily services
• review and revise assessments and care plans as needed and at least quarterly
• provide substitute foods of similar nutritive value when residents refuse meals
• use and maintain kitchen equipment safely and sanitarily
• inspect food storage and supply areas
• process diet changes received from nursing services.
