Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Barre, VT, at Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehab. Pay is up to $25 per hour. What you'll do

• Repair facility walls, doors, ceilings, windows, and other areas
• remove trash and move furniture
• coordinate work with nursing services in resident areas
• assist with terminal cleaning of resident rooms
• perform routine facility and equipment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work
• maintain grounds and parking areas
• assist with preventive maintenance
• transport residents to and from appointments
• perform emergency maintenance as directed
• may take scheduled on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.
