What you'll do

• Drive a truck with capacity over three tons to transport cargo, materials, furniture, or artwork
• maintain contact with the base supervisor
• keep truck logs and records of transported goods
• follow traffic regulations
• secure cargo with blocks and rope
• clean, inspect, and service the vehicle
• operate loading and unloading equipment
• obtain customer signatures or collect payment when needed
• assist with manual loading and unloading.
