Millwright / Facilities Technician

The Millwright / Facilities Technician role is onsite in Colusa, CA, with pay of $38–$50 per hour. SF Metalworks is an architectural metal fabrication company, and this role helps maintain and improve its shop and production facilities. The technician installs, aligns, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery while also supporting building improvements, utilities, and shop operations. The work includes preventive maintenance, mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting, rigging and moving equipment, fabrication of replacement parts, facility repairs, and support for solar and battery storage system installation and commissioning.

What you'll do

• Install, align, level, dismantle, and reassemble industrial machinery
• maintain preventive maintenance schedules
• diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
• rig and move machinery
• verify alignment with precision tools
• fabricate, weld, and machine parts
• maintain service records
• improve shop infrastructure
• perform building repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work
• coordinate with contractors and inspectors
• support solar and battery storage installation and commissioning
• assist fabrication, receiving, and material handling as needed.
