The Cyber Defense Threat Hunting Analyst role is onsite in Quantico, VA. Compensation is $125,000–$145,000 per year. Resource Management Concepts, Inc. provides management and technology solutions to government and commercial sectors, with a mission that includes protecting and preserving people and the environment. The analyst conducts defensive cyber operations to detect and mitigate advanced persistent threats across a Department of Defense customer’s enterprise network. The role improves detection capabilities through threat research, incident support, documentation, training, and compliance work with the Cyber Defense Team.

What you'll do

• Conduct proactive threat hunts
• assess servers, hosts, and network devices for adversary activity
• support Red Team exercises
• research APT tactics, techniques, and procedures
• create detection use cases and identify capability gaps
• document findings and submit ITSM tickets as needed
• update hunt procedures and training materials
• deliver at least two training sessions annually
• support CSSP accreditation documentation.
