Job overview

The Supervising Clinical Therapist position is onsite in Oceanside, CA, with Monday–Friday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and an on-call schedule. Salary is $91,715–$118,890 per year. Interfaith Community Services supports people experiencing hunger, homelessness, and other barriers to self-sufficiency; this role serves its Grant Per Diem Program for Veterans experiencing homelessness. The therapist provides direct behavioral health care and clinical supervision, helping stabilize clients, coordinate services, support staff practice, and maintain program and funder requirements.

What you'll do

  • Provide intake, assessment, treatment planning, case conferencing, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination
  • support residential and case management staff
  • document services and outcomes
  • link clients to housing, medical, mental health, recovery, and other resources
  • oversee clinical staff and intern schedules, caseloads, and performance
  • review cases and clinical documentation
  • provide supervision and crisis guidance
  • support hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
  • monitor grant and contract compliance.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in a related field and current California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC, plus at least two years of relevant experience and two years of managerial or supervisory experience.
