Medication Technician – Assisted Living

The Medication Technician – Assisted Living role is onsite in Springfield, MO. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. Springhouse Village is an assisted living community managed by Arvum Senior Living, which supports seniors through assisted living and memory care communities. The role combines resident support with medication assistance to help maintain residents’ safety, dignity, and daily well-being. The technician follows service plans, observes and documents medication administration, monitors residents, and reports concerns to nursing or health care coordinators.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on physical and emotional support to residents
• observe and document changes in residents’ conditions
• respond to call bells
• assist with activities of daily living and meals
• assist with and document medications and treatments using medication records and the Six Rights of Medication Pass
• count narcotics with a nurse or medication care manager
• maintain medication carts and rooms
• record vital signs
• report resident concerns and occupational exposures.
