Family Safety and Engagement Specialist

Job overview

The Family Safety and Engagement Specialist role is onsite in Sheboygan, WI, with pay of $21 per hour. The office is in Sheboygan, and local and long-distance travel is required for home visits and client transportation throughout Sheboygan County and surrounding counties. The role supports families referred by Sheboygan County Child Protective Services and the Ongoing Unit. The role works with families to address safety threats and related needs, connect them with services, and build support systems that can promote successful reunification.

What you'll do

• Assess youth and family treatment needs and refer to resources
• analyze client situations and needs to identify services addressing safety threats
• advocate and intervene in emergency or crisis situations
• conduct in-person home safety checks
• transport clients as needed.
