Job overview
The Housing Navigator and Life Skills Specialist role is onsite in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Simple Solutions Psychotherapy’s CalAIM Community Supports team helps people experiencing housing instability obtain and maintain stable housing. The role coordinates housing placement and transition support while building members’ skills for independent living. It connects members with housing providers, care managers, and community resources, and supports housing stability through advocacy, financial literacy, life-skills education, and documentation.
What you'll do
- Assess housing needs and barriers
- develop individualized housing plans
- help members locate housing, complete applications, and coordinate tours and lease signings
- coordinate approved move-in assistance and transition logistics
- conduct home visits and support tenancy stability
- provide landlord mediation and eviction-prevention support
- teach budgeting and independent-living skills
- coordinate with care managers and community partners
- maintain required records and EHR documentation.
