The examiner independently manages commercial auto, New York no-fault/PIP, and general liability claims from initial review through resolution. The role analyzes coverage and exposure, develops resolution strategies, and coordinates with counsel, investigators, vendors, and other stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve commercial auto, PIP/no-fault, and general liability claims
• review policy language and assess coverage, liability, damages, and exposure
• maintain reserves
• develop settlement and litigation strategies
• negotiate settlements within assigned authority
• coordinate with counsel, investigators, experts, and vendors
• document files and prepare reports
• identify subrogation, contribution, and risk-transfer opportunities.
