Production Assembler II

Job overview

The Production Assembler II role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with compensation of $18–$19 per hour. IPS Group designs, engineers, and manufactures wireless telecommunications and parking technologies, including parking meters and web-based management systems. The assembler performs production tasks and takes a leadership role in an assigned work cell, helping resolve production issues and train new employees. The work supports the completion, testing, and packaging of IPS products while maintaining safe and efficient production practices.

What you'll do

• Assemble, program, label, assign, test, and package products
• serve as a subject matter expert on a product
• report and help resolve production issues with management
• train new employees
• read routing and complete assigned work
• assemble subassemblies and finished products
• notify supervisors of mechanical or material issues
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• complete business-system transactions.
