Childcare Lead Teacher

The Childcare Lead Teacher role is onsite in Winter Garden, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $15–$18 per hour. The Learning Experience describes its mission as making a positive difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. The lead teacher creates a safe, nurturing classroom where children can play and learn. The role leads and mentors classroom teachers, implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, communicates with families, and partners with center staff to support enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and mentor classroom teachers
• manage the classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to their needs
• communicate children’s activities and achievements to parents
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals
• build relationships with families and coworkers.
