Reliability Supervisor

The Reliability Supervisor is an onsite role based in Clanton, AL. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the maintenance department at West Fraser, a leading North American wood products company. This role exists to analyze production processes and procedures to improve lumber manufacturing efficiency. The supervisor will lead reliability and lubrication technicians, manage asset lifecycle programs, and utilize CMMS data to reduce downtime and optimize machine performance.

What you'll do

• Provide leadership and training to Reliability and Lubrication Technicians
• assist in promoting reliability programs including Condition Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis
• manage asset lifecycle and CMMS usage
• provide condition reports
• coordinate with production managers on outages
• design and implement asset management strategies
• manage third-party services
• analyze production processes to reduce MTTR and increase MTBF
• promote Industry 4.0 concepts
• review OEM equipment
• coordinate with vendors
• train team members
• communicate with staff
• coordinate on personnel, safety, and finance issues.
