What you'll do

• Work as a member of a tree crew while learning tree climbing, pruning, and removal. Learn tree identification and industry pruning guidelines
• prune, thin, and remove deadwood
• learn to install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems
• assist with hazardous tree removal
• maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program and, upon hire, the company’s First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses. Travel expectations are up to 25%.
