Large Loss Estimator

The Large Loss Estimator role is onsite in Livonia, MI. Compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The position supports a restoration team handling commercial, industrial, institutional, and complex residential loss projects. The estimator develops project scopes and cost estimates, assesses damage, negotiates scope and settlements with insurance stakeholders, and manages budgets and documentation. The work helps operations teams deliver restoration projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates and scopes using Xactimate and related tools
• inspect damage
• create floor plans and supporting documentation
• meet with owners, adjusters, consultants, and engineers
• negotiate settlements
• manage project budgets, revisions, supplements, and change orders
• review subcontractor and vendor pricing
• coordinate project handoffs with project managers and operations
• follow applicable codes, standards, and safety policies.
