The Dialysis Nurse role is onsite in Miami, FL. Compensation is $42–$55 per hour. The position supports acute or chronic dialysis care in the Acute Dialysis, Chronic Outpatient Dialysis, or Nephrology department for the client represented by Talent Consultants. The nurse provides specialized care for patients receiving hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, monitoring treatment and responding to complications. The role contributes to safe, effective care through patient assessment, individualized planning, education, documentation, and collaboration with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams.
What you'll do
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis
- review physician orders and develop individualized care plans
- initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- manage vascular access
- monitor vital signs, fluid balance, electrolytes, and treatment tolerance
- respond to dialysis-related complications
- administer prescribed medications
- operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines and water systems
- follow infection prevention and safety protocols
- document care in the EMR
- educate patients and families
- collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians
- participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Why this role
Requires an active Florida RN license, ADN, current BLS certification, and at least three years of Dialysis RN experience. BSN, ACLS for acute care, and dialysis or nephrology certifications are preferred. Early morning shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules may be required.
