The Technical Support Specialist role is onsite in Boston, MA; compensation is $25.19–$40.31 per hour. Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program provides equitable, dignified healthcare access to people and families experiencing homelessness in greater Boston. The specialist supports staff technology so clinical and program teams can deliver care across BHCHP locations. The role troubleshoots user issues, prepares equipment, and maintains systems and records as part of the Information Systems Help Desk team; an evening and weekend on-call rotation is required, generally one week every six to eight weeks.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support by phone, remote desktop, and in person
• troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, mobile, phone, and network issues
• configure and deploy equipment
• install operating systems and applications
• manage Zendesk tickets
• coordinate equipment moves
• maintain configurations and asset records
• assist with network and email administration
• and participate in the evening and weekend on-call rotation.
