Civil Engineering Technician I

What you'll do

• Compute quantities for excavation, embankment, concrete, and other civil work
• use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop and analyze surface models, alignments, cross-sections, and quantity calculations
• verify field measurements and survey data
• review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• assist with contractor pay requests and progress estimates
• prepare calculation reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• coordinate with project teams
• maintain project records
• conduct occasional field visits
• support quality assurance activities and special projects.
