The Electrical Engineer (PLC/HMI and Camera Specialist) role is onsite in Davenport, IA. Compensation is $75,000–$90,000 per year. The engineer supports the Finishing Department, production, maintenance, and engineering, helping safely integrate electrical systems with manufacturing and upgrade existing equipment. The role coordinates electrical engineering projects and develops control solutions that improve processes and equipment reliability. By troubleshooting production and equipment issues and supporting upgrades, the engineer contributes to the department's safety, efficiency, output, and quality goals.

What you'll do

• Coordinate assigned electrical engineering projects from concept and scope through specifications, bids, design, manufacturing, commissioning, and closure
• participate in multidisciplinary problem solving
• use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues
• develop electrical control solutions
• assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues
• redesign and upgrade PLC/HMI controls
• install and troubleshoot industrial camera systems
• may mentor employees when needed.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least one internship, co-op, or other applicable work experience. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing experience, 1–3 years with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives and motors, measuring devices, and Ethernet cameras, plus Rockwell programming software experience. Primarily day shift, with off-hours support as needed.
