Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist works onsite in Spokane, WA, on a Monday–Friday business-hours schedule. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, DOE. Family Promise of Spokane works to end homelessness through shelter, housing, and prevention programs.

What you'll do

• Review, code, and enter approved vendor invoices in QuickBooks Online
• prepare weekly check and ACH payment runs
• process approved rent, deposit, and utility assistance payments
• match assistance transactions to accounting records
• review card transactions and reimbursements
• maintain vendor records and W-9s
• support year-end 1099 preparation
• respond to payment questions
• keep records audit-ready
• and help document finance processes.
