Manufacturing Inventory Associate

The Manufacturing Inventory Associate works onsite in DeForest, WI, on the first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The stated pay range is $20–$21 per hour. The role supports Demco’s manufacturing operations and its work serving schools and libraries. The associate keeps materials moving accurately and safely from the warehouse to production work centers. By staging supplies, verifying inventory, and coordinating with production, receiving, and shipping teams, the role helps prevent delays and maintain organized warehouse operations.

What you'll do

• Use safe lifting, material handling, and equipment practices
• keep aisles and storage areas clear and organized
• report unsafe conditions and damaged equipment or packaging
• pull, organize, and deliver correct materials and quantities to work centers
• verify item numbers, quantities, and locations against work orders
• flag inventory discrepancies
• use FIFO stock rotation
• stage and deliver materials on time
• restock packaging supplies
• move completed shipments to shipping as needed
• consolidate raw materials
• coordinate with work center operators, receiving, inventory, and shipping teams
• suggest improvements to material flow and organization
• develop knowledge of inventory systems and cycle counting.
