Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol and Alarm Monitoring

The Security Officer role is onsite in Irving, TX, with pay of $18 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Allied Universal provides security and facility services; this position serves a logistics and distribution location. The officer maintains a visible security presence through patrols, access monitoring, and alarm response. The role helps deter incidents, document site activity, and provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel
• conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter
• monitor access and verify visitor and contractor entry requirements
• document arrivals and departures
• respond to alarms and incidents according to site procedures
• complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs. Requires at least one year of security-related experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and background investigation and drug screening. CPR and First Aid certification, alarm panel experience, and access control experience are preferred.
