The Direct Support Professional – Home and Community-Based Services role is an onsite, part-time position based in Chandler, AZ, supporting individuals in family homes and the community. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Embrace Life Services provides personalized support to people with developmental disabilities to promote independence and quality of life. The DSP assists with daily living, personal care, skill development, and community participation while supporting each person’s goals and safety. The role contributes to individualized care by following support plans, documenting services, and communicating with families, guardians, and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
• support mobility and transfers
• administer medications only if trained and authorized and document accordingly
• provide companionship and emotional support
• promote self-advocacy and independence
• help individuals practice life skills and participate in community activities
• support goals in Individual Support Plans
• implement Positive Behavior Support strategies
• follow safety and incident reporting procedures
• document services and progress
• communicate with family members, guardians, and supervisors
• follow company policies, state regulations, and HCBS requirements.
