Job overview

The Fabricator role is onsite in Southbridge, MA. Compensation is not specified. The position supports production and manufacturing of MEI products. The role helps move production work forward by preparing materials and parts, assembling components, and assisting with CNC router loading and unloading. It also supports an orderly manufacturing area and project-part kitting when needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare material for the next process step, including deburring plastic, drilling and tapping holes, straightening tubing, and cutting material to length. Prepare parts and subassemblies using instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
• measure and fasten parts during assembly
• assist the CNC operator with loading and unloading material
• clean and sort recycling in manufacturing areas
• assist the materials group with project-part kitting when needed.
