Maintenance Worker — Skilled Trades

The Maintenance Worker — Skilled Trades role is onsite in Jamaica, NY, with travel to program locations as required; a vehicle is provided. Pay is $24–$26 per hour. QSAC supports children and adults with autism and their families through person-centered services. This role maintains QSAC facilities by completing repairs and projects across carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and minor construction, while supporting safe, timely work-order completion.

What you'll do

• Complete plumbing, carpentry, painting, construction, furniture-moving, delivery, and general repair projects
• review work orders and prepare tools and materials
• maintain facility cleanliness
• troubleshoot issues and report delays or hazards
• perform custodial tasks and snow removal as needed.
