Aquatics Lifeguard

The Aquatics Lifeguard role is onsite in Chevy Chase, MD, and pays $17.65–$18 per hour. The lifeguard supports pool operations at Columbia Country Club. The role protects patrons and supports a safe, positive pool experience through constant surveillance, rule enforcement, emergency response, and upkeep of the pool area and equipment.

What you'll do

• Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area and participants
• enforce pool rules
• respond to member inquiries and concerns
• maintain cleanliness and check pool filtration and chemistry
• respond to emergencies using first aid, CPR, and other emergency procedures
• inspect and maintain pool equipment
• collaborate with staff
• perform facility opening and closing duties.

Why this role

Current Lifeguard and First Aid/AED certification is required. Availability to work Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day is required; a Pool Operator Certificate is preferred.
