The Cook — Healthcare role is onsite in Milwaukee, WI, with a Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and every-other-weekend work. Compensation is not specified. BSG Maintenance provides contracted housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services to medical and long-term health care facilities. The cook prepares meals and food for the next shift, follows recipes and portion requirements, and maintains kitchen cleanliness and safe food storage. The role also supports residents through polite, prompt responses to requests and inquiries and contributes to safe, sanitary dietary operations.

What you'll do

• Follow standardized recipes
• prepare menu items for the shift and food for the next shift
• read recipes and meal tickets and maintain portion control
• wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash
• stock and store food and other items properly
• respond politely and promptly to resident requests and inquiries
• follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Why this role
