This role provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions, including performing malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical exams, and providing nutrition support recommendations.

What you'll do

• Consults with physicians and allied health professionals regarding patients' nutritional statuses and needs.
• Formulates nutrition assessment and follow-up plans.
• Recommends and documents nutrition treatment findings.
• Consults in/outpatients on diet rationale.
• Participates in clinical rounds and meetings.
• Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas.
• Reviews literature and presents findings.
• Performs professional presentations.
• Develops or participates in nutrition-related projects.
• Provides relief and cross-coverage.
• Maintains credentials and completes competencies.
• Holds professional organization membership.
• Participates in licensing surveys.
• Assumes other appropriate duties.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition Science and completion of an accredited dietetic internship. Master's degree required if completed after January 1, 2024.
